It is important to receive and press the bouquet in the freshest possible form to retain as much color as possible. The fresher the bouquet, the better the results!

  • Yes, the full bouquet is required. In some cases, depending on the frame size or the quantity of add-on frames, additional flowers may be required such as bridesmaids bouquets or centerpieces, etc. I carefulyl dissect the arrangements and press the blooms that are in the best condition. In the event that some of the flowers are bruising or wilting, it’s nice to have the extra blooms to choose from to eliminate these imperfections in the final piece.

  • Yes, a deposit is required. In order to lock in your spot, a non-refundable deposit of $100 is required, in addition to a contract. If you would like to inquire on the availability for your wedding date, please fill out the form on the Contact Me page!

  • The floating glass frames are definitely the most sought after option. I currently offer this style of frame in three sizes; 16x20 (small), 18x24 (medium), and 22x28 (large). The size of the frame itself should reflect the size of your bouquet in terms of small, medium, or large. If you’re looking for a true statement piece of art to display in your home, the 22x28 is incredible but also requires a substantial amount of flowers.

  • Some of my personal favourite flowers to press are dahlias, anemones, peonies, delphinium, ranunculus, and zinnias! Conveniently, these flowers are also offered in such a stunning variety of colours, and retain bold colours in the preservation process. Be sure to incorporate variety in your fresh bouquet for more dimension and depth in the preserved piece.

I’ve yet to come across a flower that I wasn’t able to press. Depending on your frame style however, some flowers or dried components may not be able to be included. Floating glass frames require the flowers to be pressed paper thin, whereas standard frames have much more flex in the backing which allows for much more depth and dimension.

  • Yes, you can! Gift certificates are available in any amount you desire. Whether you’re gifting a pressed bouquet to a bride for her bridal shower or the big day, I’ve got you covered.

  • I do have an add-on 8” x 10” floating glass and standard frame available for my clients. This size frame is the perfect gift for your bridesmaids, maid of honour, mother in law, or mother of the bride! This size frame is not offered individually, and must accompany a main frame of 16x20 or larger.

  • My approach to my pressed flower art is entirely natural; this means that no chemicals, paints, or enhancements are utilized. Pressing flowers essentially requires a living flower to be squished until all moisture content has been removed. In doing so, removing the water content and dehydrating the flower causes colour discolouration, and will continue to fade and become more vintage in tone over the years.
